Today I would like to invite you to a very special Terra Robinia event: STARGAZING
Astrofun is an ASTRONOMY WORKSHOP that consists in uncovering the mysteries of the night sky.
We will learn how to locate ourselves, find all the asterisms and constellations, recognise the stars and planets… and we will connect with all the ancient wisdom coming from their mythological legends.
How does it work?
We will lay comfortably to observe the treasures this awesome sky offers us, so you just need something to lay on (such as yoga/ camping mats9, warm clothes or even blankets and/or sleeping bags) and the heart wide open. A cup hot tea always helps to keep our bodies and hearts warm.
What are we going to see?
Algarve’s night sky is one of the best to get familiar with the Cosmos.
Thanks to our laser pointer we will learn how to recognize the main stars (such as Polaris, Vega, Arcturus, Antares), some planets (Mars or Venus) and around 20 constellations including some zodiacal ones.
Who is our teacher, Cosco Starkid?
Cosco is a professional astronomy guide, who has been sharing this passion around the world for over 15 years.
When & Where?
The event will take place at Terra Robinia, Silves, Portugal.
As many of you know, we have a neolithic rock monument right behind our family home, which will serve as our gazing base.
We will start the event with a delicious and nourishing 3-course dinner, prepared by our popular chef, Olivia Kirschner.
The star gazing part will start when the sun goes to sleep and the dreams come to visit. It lasts about 2 hours.

Please note that the event is outdoors, and weather depending, as we need a clear sky.
Also, maximum number of participants is limited to 10, so please book early.
